'BEGINNERS LUCK' – HALF DAY SEA KAYAKING TRIP FOR BEGINNERS

This half day introductory trip introduces you to the pleasure of sea kayaking; it might be termed the ‘wine-tasting’ of sea kayaking!  It is ideal for nervous paddlers as it offers the ideal opportunity to sample all that the ocean and kayaking has to offer in a way that emphasises all that is relaxing and enjoyable about the sea.

The day begins with an introductory lesson in how to sit in and paddle your kayak. After brief instruction and getting comfortable in the kayak we set off to explore the inlets and caves of the Waterford coastline.

The day will be spent exploring inlets and caves and rock hopping, hopefully encountering a few seals and dolphins (unfortunately, this is the one aspect of the trip which cannot be provided on request!).  When you’re having fun learning comes naturally and, before you know it, you have absorbed the basic elements of kayaking and sea expedition.
